Eric Levitz

Eric Levitz, Executive Director at the AZ House, is a visionary leader in the addiction recovery community in Jerusalem. He gave up a successful career as a chef to move to Israel with the goal of improving the recovery options available in the area. Once in Israel, he identified a gap in the services offered and helped to establish the AZ House, where he has served as the executive director since its inception in 2016.Eric is known for his dedication to improving the lives of those affected by addiction in the community. He goes above and beyond his role as the director of the AZ House, actively working to support and empower individuals in recovery. His passion for professional cooking has also been an asset to the program, as he uses his culinary skills to prepare meals for residents and events. In his free time, Eric is also an avid car enthusiast, food enthusiast, and motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoys exploring new recipes, tuning cars and motorcycles, and riding on vacation.Eric's fiery passion to give back to the community has resulted in a high percentage of former residents who are happy, stable, and sober. They are also active in the community, furthering the mission of the AZ House. His leadership and dedication have been instrumental in the success of the program and his impact on the community is undeniable.
